Aware Buildings' mailbox sensor is a very simple yet powerful solution that requires the installation of a single sensor on the frame of the mailbox cluster - where the mailperson would typically open/close to supply residents with mail. The sensor then works by triggering a change in status every time the frame of the mailbox cluster is opened.

Aware’s mailbox sensor also provides you and your residents with a visual dashboard.

Aware-MM is wireless, battery-operated with a 3+ year battery life, and is non-invasive and very easy to install.

Pricing

  • $70 per sensor + $250 per hub + required data service fee

  • At least 1 sensor per mailbox cluster frame is needed

  • The number of hubs can often be determined after reviewing your floor plan, but a physical site survey may be required.

  • The data service fee is a minimum of $100 per month, billed annually

  • The data service fee is $5 per sensor per month, and $50 per hub per month
